Art Courses: Supply Lists

Please do not purchase your art course supplies until you receive a call from the Continuing Education registration office confirming that there is sufficient registration to run your course. Or call the office and check first. 604-533-4227 or 604-856-4447.

This Winter/Spring 2012 course catalogue contains an amazing selection of Continuing Education courses of all types. Again, we have the largest selection of computer courses in B.C. We are also into our second full year as a Microsoft partner and Microsoft IT Academy and Certification Testing Centre, which allows students to not only enrol in and complete our courses, but to receive Microsoft MOS certification, the only globally recognized standards-based credential for validating desktop computer skills.

We are pleased to have added to our Language course offerings with new beginner level courses in both Hindi and Punjabi, and new level 2 courses in both French and Italian. Other new courses include electrical and plumbing workshops for the home do-it-yourselfer, pottery, fused glass, floral design, sales, time management, and website creation, to name just a few.

A big "thank you" to the schools and Administrators where Continuing Education courses are taught. "Special thanks" to school custodians, and to the daytime classroom teachers who acknowledge the importance of lifelong learning for the adults in their community, and assist by sharing their classrooms.

-Jim Verkerk, Director, Continuing Education

Community Education Services was formed to take on the task of organizing and coordinating the delivery of Continuing Education courses to the residents of Langley and Abbotsford – and now Surrey as well.
